Gulf Compress, located in Corpus Christi and Raymondville, Texas offers customized services for every distributing and warehousing need. There we provide 26 warehouses with a combined floor space of 1,500,000 sq. ft. This plant is located near IH 37 and the port and is serviced by the Tex-Mex rail road.

Our second plant is located near the International Airport and Texas State Hwy #44, making air and rail distribution easily accessible. This plant provides 10 warehouses, with a combined floor space of 500,000 sq. ft. of storage. It is located on 119 acres of available land, making expansion possible to suit any customer.

Raymondville is located in the northeastern end of the Rio Grande Valley. The main plant is located just a mile north of the Raymondville, making it accessible to border crossing at Brownsville and Matamoros via US Hwy 77. • About Gulf Compress

Gulf Compress is a cooperative warehouse association organized in 1950 for the purpose of providing safe, dependable storage and services for South Texas cotton Producers... Over the past forty-eight years Gulf Compress has more than doubled its storage capacity. In 1995 Gulf Compress merged with Delta Coop Compress in Raymondville forming the largest, most progressive and modern warehouse complex in Central and South Texas. With our highly flexible data processing department and close proximity to Mexico, we can offer excellent warehousing and delivery services for cotton and other products.

Gulf Compress is owned and controlled by twenty-one member gins and associations. Each member association names a director to serve on Gulf's Board. The directors review the financial statement monthly and meet quarterly to set policy and give direction. Although Gulf Compress is a cooperative, it is structure to offer services to any gin. Non-cooperative gins which deliver bales to Gulf Compress can do so through our Non-Member Gin Rebate Plan, whereby they receive a cash rebate based on margins, or through a separate cooperative association names Southern Cotton Growers. Members of Southern Cotton Growers receive cash and equity according to Gulf's margins and also have representation on our Board of Directors
